Samsung: Batttery caused Note 7 Fires

It is expected that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 in upcoming Mobile World Congress Trade to be held at Barcelona in the end of February 2017.

2960x1440 means that Galaxy S8 will have an aspect ratio of 18.5:9, a slightly larger that LG's 18:9 aspect ratio.

But it seems Samsung is taking the risk and decided it will continue on with its Note lines with the coming of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

With regards to the specifications, Galaxy S8 will allegedly retain the dual-edge curved display and the flat display variant. They should have released it by now but the delay might somewhat be related to Galaxy Note 7 battery issue that they faced a year ago.

Samsung is planning to take advantage of the interest in wireless headphones prompted by Apple's AirPods to launch a set of its own, according to a Tech Times report. Typically, Samsung announces the Note device in the fall, but the Note 7 fiasco has delayed the Galaxy S8's release, so it is likely the Note 8 will also see delays. However, the scanner was discontinued in the Note 7. According to rumors, the handsets will have a bezel-less, edge-to-edge Infinity display. The upcoming models are said to keep the 12-megapixel camera, but they will be re-formatted for better low light photography.

As noted in a previous article, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumoured to be launching at a special event in NY on April 15, although there has been no official confirmation yet that such an event will take place. It could be the one that will get more prominence.

Meanwhile, following the awful loss in 2016 brought about by Galaxy Note 7 explosion, Samsung is desperate to get back on track and restore its reputation in the global market.

Reports say that Samsung will release two versions of the Galaxy S8, with both phones' screen dimensions standing as the prominent disparity. While all three phone families will have distinct features, they'll also be similar when it comes to other characteristics. "In his tweet, he said "Those bemoaning the dearth of branding on the S8 will be pleased to learn that the top 1/4" of screen will be hard-coded to display SAMSUNG".
