Michael Floyd sentenced to jail time for super extreme DUI

Floyd's plea satisfies the other six charges against him, including a more serious "super extreme DUI" that could have required more jail time.

Bodycam footage showed officers approaching Floyd's auto at the intersection and needing a forceful knock to wake up an unconscious Floyd.

In a video released by police, officers banged on Floyd's vehicle window to wake him up and then ordered him to turn off the auto.

Floyd's sentence included 120 days in jail - of which he has to serve 24 in jail and 96 as home detention - $5,115.99 worth of fines and fees, admittance to a court-directed alcohol-education program and 30 hours of community service. According to court documents, Floyd's BAC at the time of his arrest was.217 - almost three times the legal limit.

Confused: Floyd speaks in a slurred voice and says he doesn't know why police have pulled him over.

Michael Floyd will spend time in jail during the 2017 National Football League offseason. Floyd, 27, was found asleep at the wheel of a 2017 Cadillac Escalade.
