Jay Z Is Starting a Venture Capital Fund

Jay Z and Brown will reportedly be teaming up with Sherpa Capital, whose website says they support "the most promising emerging technology-enabled companies, helping them become global brands beloved by their customers".

Axios reports the rapper/, is launching a venture capitalist firm with his Roc Nation partner Jay Brown.

There's nothin' Jay Z can't do.

Jay Z is not the only famous person who is set to cash in on the tech boom. Both invested in Uber Series' B, at $300 million pre-money.

One of Jay-Z's most important investments, however, was in private travel startup JetSmarter.

Shawn Carter and Jay Brown's VC fund do not yet have a fund size target at the moment.
