Official Mass Effect: Andromeda Launch Trailer Rockets In

It seems as though a lot about Mass Effect: Andromeda will feel familiar.

Unlike many AAA games that were released in this day and age, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" won't be featuring a season pass, and all multiplayer maps are going to be available for free. BioWare has given IGN the "First" look at some of the game's prominent features. Furthermore, another telling difference is that players of Andromeda can now switch classes easily through a Profile System, which is a welcome improvement for gamers who wish to shake the gameplay anytime they want. Bioware has announced that a Day One patch for the game may be rolled out ahead of launch, which is about two weeks away. There's going to be a free trial available through the EA Origins Access programs a few days earlier on March 16 for Xbox One and PC.

One way we'll meet new people is by earning "Andromeda Viability" points which allow us to wake up colonists, increasing the population of the Nexus space station and other settlements.

The final trailer for the game was released yesterday. According to Alec Ryder, the Kett are "visitors", which implies they might not be from the Andromeda galaxy. The second part of the dialogue indicates that the Initiative may not be able to house or support the thousands of colonists still in cryosleep without planetary bases to draw from.

It's nice to see loyalty missions back for Mass Effect: Andromeda.

The game's launch trailer depicts the game's main plot - humanity's desperate search for new homes.
