As a team that typically resides among Europe's elite, the Red Devils have relatively little experience of playing in UEFA's second-tier competition.

Their current squad largely consists of somewhat inexperienced but highly talented younger players, most notably the 19-year-old striking sensation Kasper Dolberg, who has bagged 19 goals in all competitions this season.

The National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff will stage the final at 20:45CET on Saturday 3 June. Gonzalo Higuain has 29 goals this season; Paulo Dybala, who scored twice against Barcelona, has 16 and a supply line that includes Miralem Pjanic and Juan Cuadrado should find gaps in a Monaco team that, according to Jardim, will not compromise on its beliefs in the last four.

Vasilyev recognises that Juve are stronger now than they were two years ago, but also warned that Monaco are a different proposition.
