The first item in Microsoft's new To-Do app? Retire Wunderlist

Intelligent Suggestions is going to be one of the primary features of To-Do. Microsoft also has made security a top priority in To-Do, with end-to-end encryption.

Given people's dependence on their phones, this move makes sense for Microsoft as does the notion of giving users of Apple (aapl) and Android devices a reason to download a Microsoft (msft) app. "While the name and icon may change, the team that brought you Wunderlist continues on", writes Microsoft. Microsoft says it will incorporate favorite elements of Wunderlist in the coming months.

No, not immediately. But definitely.! Wunderlist was purchased last year and if development of To-Do advances at the required speed, one can expect the transition could take place by the end of the year.

Wunderlist has always been an excellent app for the forgetful types, helping them to keep track of their projects or just about any other task that they need to do. This gives some hope.

Carrie Fisher Will *Not* Be in 'Star Wars: Episode IX' After All
Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker, who played a smaller role in the last episode, plays a significant part in this trailer. Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens December 15th in the United States and just about everywhere else.

Jackie Robinson statue unveiled at Dodger Stadium
I often ask myself if I could have done what he did - played under that much pressure - and I don't think I could have. All told, Jackie Robinson Day has become one of the most important dates on the Major League Baseball calendar.

Tiger hits a few shots, but unsure of comeback
Woods said it was an easy sell to get him involved in this project. "Tiger and I were talking today as we were driving around". He did, however, hit a few shots in public Tuesday afternoon for the first time since that withdrawal in Dubai.

The new app is the flawless companion for listing anything users need to do at work, home and everything in between. Furthermore, Microsoft is planning to add the share list features across multiple platforms. Redmond already provides a tool that lets users import their content from Wunderlist into Microsoft To-Do - so users should be able to seamlessly transfer from Wunderlist to To-Do.

- Initially it seemed as if I could not make a to-do list item a recurring event. It will automatically sync your Tasks with To-Do, and allow you to access and manage them across devices. Every day to day activities can be recorded and be called for later. Which inevitably does mean that if you are a Wunderlist user still, it might be time to consider migrating over to To-Do. Still, your undone tasks from yesterday will be in the background which you can volunteer to check. Just add the ones you want to get done to My Day. The list is created by the way you use the app. The most common way of dealing with this issue is to use a password manager package which stores your passwords in an encrypted format and fills them in as and when you need them; Microsoft's approach, however, is to do away with passwords altogether.

The preview of the new Microsoft To-Do application is available for iPhone, Android phones, Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile and the Web starting today.
