Easy choice: Browns CB Haden wants Garrett with No. 1 pick

The Browns owns the top or the No. 1 and the No. 12 overall picks, with arguments circulating over whether the Cleveland will keep their picks for their own use or trade them up for an established quarterback.

Sashi Brown doesn't want to get into the habit of trading draft picks, but that doesn't mean he isn't open to it.

Months, even years of preparation, can be altered by the unexpected behavior of the team one spot ahead in the pecking order. The 2016 NFL Draft was the start of a building year for the Browns. "You can learn a lot". We run ourselves through different scenarios. The hang up will come with his age if he stays for another season as he will be 23 next college seasons and enter his first National Football League season at 24. This is as close to "I AM DRAFTING MYLES BLEEPING GARRETT" as you will get from him.

Osweiler was acquired March 9 in a trade with Houston in which the Brown received a second-round pick in 2018 in exchange for taking on Osweiler's $16 million guaranteed salary in 2017.

After number one, I'm good. That's because there's not a lot of quarterbacks out there in this draft.

Oilers take series in six!
To make things more intense, the Oilers took a poor late too-many-men penalty that almost took the game into overtime. "I think this is a Stanley Cup-caliber team and I think I'm a little bit older and I realize how good this team is".

Their benefits package could get skimpier as Obamacares essential health benefits requirement may no longer apply either. In an interview with reporters Wednesday, MacArthur defended his amendment.

Plus, the Browns have two first-round picks. Many suggest Fournette goes to the Carolina Panthers with the 8th overall pick in the draft.

"We do go into each draft with a plan". Indications are that neither team will take a quarterback with their top picks, but then again, quarterbacks tend to come off the board early come draft time - Jared Goff and Carson Wentz were the top two picks past year.

"We do think our roster will move in the right direction". "But are we planning on it or is that the plan? No". "You don't want to look at any individual pick in isolation". The clear top need in Cleveland is at quarterback, but frankly it would be a stunner if anyone other than Garrett was the first pick, as he is simply the best player in the draft. That remains to be seen and could depend largely on the actions of other teams.

Cleveland has missed on more picks in the last few drafts than most care to count. "We think we're positioned to be able to do that without impacting our draft much". The draft is star-studded this year and many are calling it one of the deepest draft classes in a long time.

A report from Mary Kay Cabot declaring Trubisky, a Cleveland-area native, is still in play headlined not only the sports section but the entire website at Cleveland.com late Friday night. It would be odd, to say the least, for the Browns to hire a head coach with a good track record for developing quarterbacks in Jackson, then use the first overall pick in the draft on a quarterback Jackson doesn't think they should take. The crop is thin on that group in this draft. The depth, though, is what makes it stand out, so we're looking at the five defensive backs who could be nice finds on Day 2 or 3 of the draft.
