Nintendo Announced 2 New Breath of the Wild

The first of two planned expansion packs is called The Master Trials, and will launch this summer.

Nintendo of America has just unveiled the first of two DLC packs coming to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild later this year. Looks like we'll be receiving a few new armor sets, a fancy new smart map, and a plethora of other goodies (including challenges) to dive into - we just don't know exactly when the DLC is releasing yet. Completing this Cave of Trials Challenge will make the Master Sword permanently powered-up and glowing.

There will be additional enemies to fight, who slowly regenerate health and deal more damage. Additionally, especially challenging enemies will show up in some places where they might not otherwise have. In this mode, Link is more vulnerable and can easily be spotted.

Hard Mode, meanwhile, will add a new degree of difficulty to the adventure offered by the game. Players can also slide through a timeline to track footsteps from specific times. "This feature will help in identifying the locations they haven't visited in this vast world, and may help players find those Shrines they haven't encountered yet". There's also the "Travel Medallion", an item that lets you turn your current location into a temporary fast-travel point. Some will be more attentive and can't be taken by surprise. Link can then transport himself to that point at any time. Only one location can be marked in this way, so use the medallion wisely. Oh and will you have the courage to put on the terrifying Majora's Mask? You'll have to find it first, though, as it's hidden in a new treasure chest within the world. If you're successful in helping Link navigate his way through the trial, one of the game's most coveted items awaits you.

No release date beyond summer was announced for The Master Trials. In fact, Breath of the Wild has registered more sales than the console itself. Link starts with no armor or weapons, and must defeat all enemies in a room before moving on.

Oilers take series in six!
To make things more intense, the Oilers took a poor late too-many-men penalty that almost took the game into overtime. "I think this is a Stanley Cup-caliber team and I think I'm a little bit older and I realize how good this team is".

One of the most charming aspects about Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wilds is the sheer challenge that it presents to players, especially during the early stages.

This includes the Trial of the Sword game mode, which gives players the task of fighting through 45 rooms filled with enemies. There will be balloons floating in the air carrying planks with treasures and enemies on them.

There's a new Hard Mode, which is great in its own right, but is the sort of thing often in a game by default or given away free by developers.

The second big feature relates to the map, showing gamers the path they've taken in the past 200 hours of gameplay.
