Texans trade up to get QB Watson

Clemson's Deshaun Watson and Williams were chosen in the top 12 selections of the National Football League draft, marking the first time two Clemson players have been selected among the first 12 selections.

The Cleveland Browns could have picked up a top prospect with the No. 12 overall pick, but opted to make a trade and move down in the first round.

"One of the things I said to him is that he's just a great guy".

Houston's goal here was to find that quarterback of the future while laying the groundwork for contention over the short term.

David Moyes: I won't walk away from Sunderland
We need to win tomorrow. "We are not safe until it is mathematically done", said manager Eddie Howe. The reality is that Sunderland AFC retain no desire to sack the man they have so far stood by.

Community reluctantly bidding farewell to 600-year-old tree
At first, officials thought they would be able to simply remove segments of the larger limbs, but the rot was too severe. A 600-year-old white oak tree in New Jersey that's believed to be among the oldest in the nation is about to come down.

Oilers take series in six!
To make things more intense, the Oilers took a poor late too-many-men penalty that almost took the game into overtime. "I think this is a Stanley Cup-caliber team and I think I'm a little bit older and I realize how good this team is".

Watson will seemingly not be asked to start for Houston straight away, with Tom Savage the incumbent at the quarterback position for the Texans. She's the one that raised me.

Greg Cosell joins Mad Radio to give an in-depth look at Deshaun Watson as a fit for the Texans and how he thinks he will work with Bill O'Brien. The first round pick belongs to Cleveland, the result of trading up for Deshaun Watson. I try not to take the path. There's also the matter of the other quarterback in the room. He may not end up starting, but at this point in time he certainly appears to be the best quarterback on the roster. Getting to play with him again, it's really a blessing. He finished his career third in Atlantic Coast Conference history with 12,094 yards of total offense and threw for 10,163 yards and 90 touchdowns in his career. In fact, if all goes well for Watson making the transition to the National Football League level while winning the starting job in the process, Houston could become even stronger Super Bowl contenders in the AFC, and here are five reasons why. Hopkins, Houston's first-round pick in 2013, expressed his excitement about the pick by simply tweeting a smiling face emoji soon after he was selected. The team announced the pick with the help of astronauts Peggy Whitson (aboard the International Space Station) and Scott Kelly (at Space Center Houston).

The Texans had the first pick in the draft.
