Details Emerge on Rumored Mario x Rabbids RPG for Switch

One of the more out-there rumors leading up to the Nintendo Switch reveal event was a supposed Ubisoft-developed Mario and Rabbids crossover game. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is being built on the Snowdrop engine, the same engine used to create The Division. We won't get our hopes up for an online multiplayer mode, but there will be local co-op. The motion controls were a barrier between the player and the game, and thankfully Nintendo threw all of this out the window for the Wii U.

Like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I'm here to remind you of all the good things we got out of the Wii U, starting with one major change. With a new Mario game still slated for the holidays, this could be the first of many Switch exclusives to help bridge that gap. Even remade tracks, like SNES Rainbow Road or F-Zero's Mute City, have remarkable detail that is noticeable whether you're playing handheld or on a TV.

It works like this: do a little hop as you move into a turn and your kart will start to drift, releasing a burst of colored sparks behind it. Wonderfully, almost all of these can be entirely ignored, and you can play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe without any knowledge, and it's still riotous fun.

The game still has some way to go to knock The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild off its pedestal. It now holds a Metacritic score of 93 which makes it tied with the Game Boy Advance's Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is available now on Nintendo Switch and you can check out some of the reviews below.

For those who think the combine and pro day workouts are overrated, Davis is proof that film comes first . Roughly 1,000 soldiers and their families turned out for autographs and pictures at the Fort Campbell PX.

First Zelda's Breath Of The Wild DLC Gets Detailed
The first expansion pack for the hit Switch and Wii U game is called The Master Trials , and it will launch this summer. Known as The Master Trials , the downloadable content pack is the first of two planned add-ons for Breath of the Wild .

Smart steering and auto-accelerate, however, "effectively take not only challenge, but also skill, out of the game".

Either way, though: the Mario x Rabbids crossover that nobody asked for nor expected will, according to Rogers, be released this August.

Perhaps the biggest overhaul is to the Battle Modes, which in the original bordered on unplayable thanks to its tedious "joust" mechanics that were as much fun as getting slapped in the face with a wet sock. And that's to say nothing of how games can be better built to accommodate people with disabilities and physical ailments.
