Titles more important than top four to Manchester United, says Mourinho

Mourinho's side will secure qualification for next season's Champions League by winning the Europa League this season.

It's looking increasingly unlikely for them to qualify for next season's Champions League through a top four finish in the Premier League.

"We, Manchester United, for us it is more important to win titles than to finish top four", Mourinho told reporters.

"You can not win a semi-final easily". At the moment, the Premier League matches are the ones we do not want to play.

"They are so friends and they support each other all the time".

It has not been an easy first season for Mourinho at Manchester United following his appointment as Louis van Gaal's permanent successor last summer.

Once again, he cited the complications of a lengthy injury list coinciding with a devilishly tough run of Premier League fixtures. But if I was on your side, in your chair, it makes (sense).

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says that he can not be blamed for rotating his squad against Crystal Palace, three days ahead of the Europa League final.

Over the last five days, shares have managed 9.06% gains and now is up 2.58% since hitting its 200-day moving average of $48.94. The last close places the company's stock about $24.09 off its 52 week high of $44.68 and $2.19 above the 52 week low of $18.4.

Dyche admits Burnley 'flat' for Bournemouth defeat
Heaton had to field a header from Lys Mousset and the in-form King hit the side-netting after a bustling run down the left flank. Burnley went up the other end and went agonisingly close to drawing level with Arfield's long-range strike inches wide.

May vows to cap energy bill increases if Tories win election
For Centrica and SSE, the two most exposed to Britain, a price cap could limit their ability to increase dividends. She answered: "I don't think any government can ever promise that no bill is going to go up year on year".

"Because if I have Ashley Young, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, Ibrahimovic, Tim Fosu-Mensah, if I had these guys I can rotate, I can go for every match".

"When I have 14, 15 players, I can't do it". It's as simple as that.

"But the opponent was hard, the match was hard, the stadium was hard, so I cannot be happier with the players and their work".

Mourinho accepts it could well be seen as a season-defining match, but believes the groundwork put in during this taxing first season means the campaign has been a success already.

"We never had one occasion to rest, not even to train properly, so it was not a choice".

"We have played a lot of games in a row; it has been a insane schedule but now we have to go to the final with everything and it can be a very good season".

Mourinho added: "I can not go to Man City or Arsenal and put out five kids at the same time altogether". I can not lose 5-0 or 6-0.

"If everything goes normal and we have no problems, Sergio plays the final".
