Several rounds of showers and storms to start the week

While it won't rain the entire week, potentially 2"-3" of rain is expected through the period. Temperatures will remain in the 60s with a southerly breeze at 10-15 miles per hour.

The rest of the week looks unsettled with a little rain or showers expected each day as an upper level low remains over the area.

It was much cooler across the area on Sunday behind a cold front that moved through the region overnight.

Tomorrow continues the risk for storms but this time it'll be more hit and miss with highs slightly cooler but still with highs in the 60s. Rain should taper off to showers Thursday afternoon and temperatures should top out around 70 degrees.

On Tuesday, we're tracking an area of low pressure that could bring us heavy rain at times.

MONDAY: We'll have variably cloudy start to the day but a batch of showers and storms may roll into the Twin States during the afternoon. We are mostly cloudy and dry through midnight, whereafter showers will begin to move into the area from the west. Rain showers continue overnight, with mild temperatures ranging from 55 to 60 degrees and a southeast wind at about 10 miles per hour. Temperatures once again will be in the 60s.

Showers are likely on Thursday.

Computer models show a few spotty showers on Friday, low threat for the coast.

More rain chances will be featured for your weekend. They will persist off and on along a slow moving front that won't bring changes to our temperature, with highs staying in the low to mid 70s all week long and lows in the low-to-mid 50s. Saturday and Sunday looks dry and comfortable with plenty of sun.
