Graco is recalling more than 25,000 vehicle seats that might not adequately restrain children during a crash. Graco eventually traced the issue back to a single batch of webbing. Affected seats have a tag on the webbing that has a code of 2014/06.

The NHTSA says Graco will notify owners of the impacted My Ride 65 auto seats that their product has been recalled and dealers will provide consumers with a replacement harness for free.

No injuries have been reported. The fix will have it meeting Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems". "During a test of the individual harness restraint component, the webbing on certain My Ride 65 convertible auto seats did not meet federal requirements for breaking strength". Dealers will provide consumers with a replacement harness, free of charge.
