Wonder Woman premieres in China to good reviews

I need more female superhero movies, from both Marvel and DC, and some of them are going to stink as badly as "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Batman vs. Superman".

As of the publishing of this article, Wonder Woman now has a 94% approval rating with 218 fresh reviews and only 15 rotten with an average rating of 7.6/10.

"She has such inner strength, such an iron temperament, that she could work through anything and always keep an upbeat attitude", Jenkins said of the actress.

In just one day two films have set the box office ablaze, Wonder Woman and Captain Underpants.

While Keri Russell won't be portraying Wonder Woman in a live action movie, she was an inspired choice to lend her vocal abilities and screen presence to one of our most beloved superheroes in 2009.

I know personally that I've been waiting for a Wonder Woman movie for as long as I can remember. I think we can all agree the trailers look unbelievable, but how does the actual movie shape up? Add onto that the deft skewering of several annoying tropes and fight scenes that are deeply satisfying for even a hardcore action fan like myself, and you have a movie that other superhero films could only dream of becoming.

Or maybe Wonder Woman 2 is still completely in flux. Roven recently confirmed that it would be hard for movies to exist within the DC cinematic universe in the space between Batman v Superman and Justice League, confirming the latter takes place nearly directly after the former.

With the highly-anticipated stand-alone Wonder Woman film hitting theaters this weekend, talk has already begun about a sequel.

Thankfully, it's also an origin story of sorts ensuring that a new audience gets introduced and invested in what can become quite a deft new franchise.

"Wonder Woman loves all and has no dark sides in her character".
