Canada thrash Pakistan at Hockey World League semi-final

A day before title-holders India face Pakistan in the Champions Trophy final at London's Oval ground, the BJP chief Amit Shah today said India can not stop playing Pakistan in worldwide tournaments, but made it clear that the two countries will not play each other on Indian or Pakistani soil.

"We always look at Pakistan as just another team and we always look at earning those three points from the match to advance in the league stage", the midfielder said on the eve of the match against Canada.

"This is what they did in group match", Khan added.

The Pakistani captain had revealed that he is a great admirer of Dhoni.

But India, ranked No 6 in the world, fired four unanswered goals in a nightmare third-quarter spell to win 4-1.

Sony Debut New God of War Trailer at E3

"India-Pak will continue to play at global tournaments but neither India will play in Pak nor Pak will play in India", said BJP president Shah after questions were raised over India and Pakistan playing sports once again.

Pakistan have yet to play a match at the Oval this tournament but in bowling coach Azhar Mahmood, who spent several seasons at his "second home" playing for Surrey, they have someone familiar with all the vagaries of the London ground. The question then arises: Why would you send India's most experienced players to the Caribbean for a short series as opposed to resting them for the Sri Lanka tour?

"Though the team is ranked below us, we don't want to take them lightly". "India refuse to play against us (in Pakistan's adopted home of the United Arab Emirates)". "But coach gave us that confidence during the break saying there's still 30 minutes to go and nothing is lost yet".

"Nobody recognised us, nobody thought we'll qualify for the final.Credit to the team and the team management for how we came back after the loss to India", he said.
