Cavaliers join teams in on Jimmy Butler

It didn't take too long after The Finals ended for some National Basketball Association trade rumors to send social media into a frenzy with the reports of a potential deal with the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers that would revolve around the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

"We were down on Jimmy Butler after that series, no doubt about it", said Zolak.

Names-big names-will be thrown around and there could either be an explosion of activity where star players will change addresses, creating a potential shift in conference hierarchies.

The Chicago Bulls are still unwilling to pull the trigger on the long-overdue Jimmy Butler trade to Boston Celtics, per a latest report.

Ex-UFC fighter Tim Hague reportedly brain dead after knockout
He had been knocked down three times in the first round and a further two times in the second before it was waved off. Sportsnet reported Saturday that Hague had undergone surgery to relieve pressure around his brain and is in a coma.

In the deal between the Celtics and Sixers, Boston received the No. 3 pick in this year's draft and the Lakers' 2018 first-round pick. In the meantime, the Bulls are preparing for the draft, in which they own the 16th and 38th picks. Smith said that is not quite a done deal, but it is said to be the Celtics' goal.

"The Boston Celtics are planning on acquiring Jimmy Butler", Smith added. Johnson adds that the Suns could be the third team in a Chicago-Cleveland trade for Butler. Zolak is happy that the Celtics are simply making moves to greatly improve the team.

The Bulls aren't giving Butler away. They don't know if they will be able to.

But just because it rings, it doesn't mean the Bulls have to kowtow or that they will; the status quo may not be sexy but it may be prudent.
