Woman accusing Bill Cosby of sex assault denies prior romance between them

Andrea Constand, now 44, originally told police in Cheltenham, Pa., that she was drugged and molested by Cosby at his Elkins Park home on March 16, 2004, about two months after she now claims the assault occurred.

During the cross-examination of Andrea Constand in Bill Cosby's high-profile sexual assault trial on Wednesday, June 7, the shamed comedian's defense team attempted to expose inconsistencies in the former Temple University employee's Tuesday testimony. "I was humiliated and embarrassed", she said.

Andrea Constand has finally broken her silence with a graphic account of the night she was allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby.

Shortly after, Constand remembers feeling "frozen", slurring her words, and experiencing blurred vision.

Before Tuesday's testimony, Ms Constand had been barred from sharing her story in public due to a confidential settlement she reached with Mr Cosby in 2006.

Bill Cosby's chief accuser is denying any prior romance between them as she's questioned by one of Cosby's lawyers in his sex assault case in suburban Philadelphia.

Ms Constand is one of more than 50 women who have come forward in recent years to accuse Mr Cosby of assaults said to date back to the 1960s. "He is 10 years older than even her own father", the mother testified, breaking down on the stand. "And I believed he supported numerous athletic programs".

Joseph Miller, a workers' compensation lawyer, testified on Tuesday that he was taken aback when Ms Johnson said she had been drugged and violated by Cosby. He faces three felony charges of aggravated indecent assault.

Some American officials suspect that Warmbier's current condition is the result of his treatment. They described 22-year-old Otto Warmbier as in a state of "unresponsiveness wakefulness".

"I was mistaken", Constand said, referring to the type of meal they had. And I felt Mr. Cosby's hand groping my breasts under my shirt. "She does not say to me, 'Don't ever do that again.' She doesn't walk out with an attitude of a huff". "I also testified I was really nervous and I wasn't able to recall every particular moment I saw Mr. Cosby".

Cosby is charged with sexually assaulting Constand after giving her three unmarked blue pills.

The defence has argued the two had a romantic relationship, that Ms Constand was not incapacitated, and that the sexual encounter was consensual.

Constand said that, after she took the pills, Cosby led her to the couch and she lost consciousness. At the same time, Constand said, she was bringing Cosby a gift from a mutual acquaintance.

Cosby avoided looking directly at Constand while she was in court, though he appeared to be listening intently, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. She also said Cosby was mentoring her for a career in sports broadcast. "She can't move, she can't talk".

She said she feared speaking out at the time because Cosby was "the biggest celebrity in the world". He said Ms Johnson made the disclosure while pursuing a claim that she had developed debilitating stress from her secretarial job at the William Morris Agency.

"The room was dark, and there was a nice mood in the room, correct?" she said.

The AP does not typically identify people who say they are sexual assault victims unless they grant permission, which Johnson has done.
