Second major cyber attack in two months disrupts businesses around world

The new attack used the same National Security Agency hacking tool, Eternal Blue, that was used in the WannaCry episode, as well as two other methods to promote its spread, according to researchers at the computer security company Symantec (See: Major cyber-attack hits almost 100 countries; Asia mostly spared).

In one of the biggest in a series of cyber-attacks of the year, computer systems in the capital city of Kiev, Ukraine were attached by cyber terrorist. The Ransom virus attacked computers.

APM Terminals, owned by Maersk, is experiencing system issues at multiple terminals, including the Port of NY and New Jersey, the largest port on the US East Coast, and Rotterdam in The Netherlands, Europe's largest harbour. As per reported by Hindustan Times, a senior official from the JNPT said: "There are tree terminals for loading and unloading the containers in JNPT".
