Showers and a heavy t-storm around through this evening

There's a chance the long holiday weekend could turn into a bit of a washout - rain is in the forecast almost every day.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. It'll still be comfortably warm with highs staying in the lower 80s; pretty close to normal for July 2. Expect mostly sunny skies for the start of your weekend with temperatures reaching into the mid 80s.

Friday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy.

Weather forecasters are expecting Saturday to be the most unsettled day of the four-day holiday weekend, with heavy cloud cover, steady winds and scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

A warm front will move in from the west Thursday with more clouds and some showers and storms developing by the late afternoon.

Tuesday Night. A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. On Sunday, the weather is expected to be humid and sunny, with temperatures in the 80s.

Monday. A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

As for the weekend, it will feel pretty tropical with highs both days in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Monday will see a continuance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 p.m. Southwest wind around 5 miles per hour. Winds will blow out of the south about 5-10 miles per hour.

Saturday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 52. Overnight lows in the Omaha area will be in the lower to upper 60s. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. This will create some showers and thunderstorms, a few of which may come with downpours.

The chances will be higher for severe weather in Central New York. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.
