Both houses of Parliament were on Monday adjourned until Tuesday after making obituary references to members who passed away recently and to victims of Amarnath Yatra terror attack in which seven people were killed.

Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) general secretary Sitaram Yechury on Sunday said there are a lot of bills pending in the Parliament and if the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government wants to pass those only on the basis of their majority, then it is not going to happen.

As soon as the Lok Sabha met, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan read the condolence message over the death of sitting MP Vinod Khanna and some former members of the House.

The Prime Minister also called on all the parties to support the war against corruption, which has been initiated by the government.
