Bruce Willis Is Out For Blood In First Death Wish Trailer

Courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, we have our first look at Bruce Willis in 'Death Wish, ' the Eli Roth-directed remake of the vigilante classic starring Charles Bronson. " It remains to be seen whether Death Wish will rejuvenate the 62-year-old Willis' action career, but it seems to be as good a vehicle to accomplish that as any he's had of late".

Charles Bronson starred in the original 1974 Death Wish film (in turn based on a 1972 Brian Garfield novel) as Paul Kersey (Paul Benjamin in the novel), a NY man who turns vigilante following the murder of his wife.

Eli Roth directs the MGM reimagining of the classic 1974 thriller. Set to AC/DC's "Back in Black", the trailer shows Dr. Paul Kersey (Willis) use his surgeon skills to identify criminals and take revenge on a crusade for justice to avenge his wife's death. "I wanted to bring Bruce back to that "Fifth Element, ' 'Unbreakable, ' 'Die Hard" glory and have him craft another iconic performance, and I really think he did it. I mean I really think this can be his 'Taken.' The fun is watching him go insane and watching someone slowly move the moral goal post".

Given the virtually everything is being rebooted now, it was only at matter of time before someone took a crack at the Death Wish series of films. Along with Willis, Death Wish features actors like Vincent D'Onorio (Daredevil), Elisabeth Shue (Leaving Las Vegas), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) and Mike Epps. So it's absolutely no wonder Eli Roth decided to remake it.

Willis' Death Wish opens in theaters on November 22nd.
